Bruce Hines, MD

Dr. Bruce Hines is a "blue collar" emergency room physician. Raised in Missouri, Kansas and West Virginia, moving every couple of years in an academic family, he now makes his home in Franklin Tennessee. Bruce has a wife, Jennifer and daughter, Claire, who is an exceptional equestrian. He was born in Missouri and went to high school in Huntington, West Virginia. Graduated from College in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State and worked for six years after graduation for Union Carbide, residing first in Cleveland, Ohio and transferred to Columbia, Tennessee. There, he decided to change careers and went back to West Virginia to attend Marshall University, in Huntington, West Virginia. After graduating from medical school Bruce did a residency in Emergency Medicine at The University Of Louisville. First job after residency was back in Columbia, Tennessee where he worked for 2 years before becoming full time in the year 2000 with Middle Tennessee Medical Center, now St. Thomas, Rutherford. In his spare time he enjoys travel, running, backpacking and sleeping in.
