Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program

We are excited to start this newly accredited program in July 2022 with our first class of three fellows!  Our mission is to train leaders in the field of Cardiovascular Disease who are prepared to improve the cardiovascular health and well-being of Tennesseans, including the health of vulnerable populations in both rural and urban settings.  Graduates of the program will accomplish this goal through compassionate clinical care, patient advocacy, and transformational clinical research.

Our fellows will train within Ascension Saint Thomas Heart, a leader in cardiovascular care throughout Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, on the Midtown and West campuses of Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital.  We offer a comprehensive program, which encompasses the core disciplines of cardiology as well as the transformational multi-disciplinary areas such as structural heart disease, cardio-oncology, advanced imaging, advanced heart failure and heart transplant.
