Internal Medicine Residency Program
Established in 1982, the major thrust of the University of Tennessee Internal Medicine Residency Program in Nashville is to develop superb physicians in internal medicine. Graduates of the program are qualified to pursue careers in general internal medicine, hospital medicine or enter subspecialty fellowship programs. Our faculty is committed to enabling each of our residents to fulfill their personal and professional goals.
- Of recent graduates: 30% entered subspecialty fellowship programs; 37% entered traditional internal medicine; 33% entered hospital medicine.
