Application Process
Applications are only accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®). Please visit the ERAS Applying to Fellowship site for more information about the application process and timeline.
Deadline for accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year: August 31, 2025
ERAS Applications Must Include:
- Personal Statement
- At least 3 Letters of Recommendation (1 must be from your residency Program Director)
- USMLE or COMLEX Transcript
- Medical School Transcript
- ECFMG Status Report (International Medical Graduates only)
Visa Status:
- Eligible to seek J-1 Visa (J-1 Visa eligibility must be valid through June 30th of graduation year)
- Permanent Resident or Alien status (i.e. Green Card)
Additional Information:
- Candidates must have graduated from an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program
- Per ACC guidelines, we will be participating in the new program signaling feature for the 2026 Cardiovascular Fellowship MyERAS® application season. While we preferentially review applications from those who signal our program, we also consider applicants who do not signal us.
Interview Information
2025-2026 Interview Season: Interviews are scheduled by invitation only and interviews will be held virtually via Zoom.
Future Interview Seasons: Interviews are scheduled by invitation only and will be in person. In-person interviews will include a dinner event the night before, and we will provide one night’s stay in a hotel. Applicants must make their own arrangements for transportation and hotel nights beyond the one night that is provided (if needed).
