  • Advanced Heart Failure
  • Vascular
  • Cardiovascular Surgery
  • Advanced Imaging
  • Cardio-Oncology
  • HCM Amyloid
  • Cardio-OB
  • Electrophysiology
  • Cath Lab

Conferences

Core Lecture

Faculty will give core lectures with their areas of expertise and interest. If faculty is not available we will review ACCSAP videos and board review practice questions. Lectures should include diagnosis, treatment, and management of various cardiovascular diseases.

EKG/EP Conference

Faculty and fellows interactively discuss basic and advanced ECGs, teaching telemetry tracings, and EP study tracings.

Cath Conference

Fellows will participate in interdisciplinary cath conferences and lean management of complex cases as a heart team approach. Additionally, teaching cases and/or cath topics will usually be presented by fellows on service for the month. Faculty may present and discuss teaching cases.

Echo/Valve Conference

Teaching cases are usually presented by fellows on service for the month. Faculty may present and discuss teaching cases. We will also use ACC EchoSAP for further didactics and practice questions.

Guidelines Conference

Fellows will present ACC/AHA and SCAI guidelines or consensus statements summarizing key points of the guidelines.

Journal Club/M&M

One fellow is required to present one journal club per month. Journal club fosters in-depth discussion of recent clinical trials.

Research Conference/Quality Improvement

Research conferences allow fellows to present any ongoing research. Basics of research methodology, protocol, statistical analysis and manuscript writing will be presented by a faculty during the first half of the year.
