Bindusri Paruchuri, MD

Dr. Bindusri Paruchuri grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and went to undergraduate at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO where she majored in Neuroscience with a minor in Health Care Ethics. She attended medical school at St. George’s University, where she completed her education in Grenada for two years and New York for two years. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at UTHSC – St. Francis in Memphis, TN. Afterwards, she stayed in Memphis and pursued the Advanced Obstetrics and Women’s Health Fellowship, where she received additional training in operative obstetrics.
According to Dr. Paruchuri, coming to the UTHSC-Nashville Family Medicine Residency Program has allowed her to blend all of her passions – serving an underserved community, obstetrics, wellness, medical education, and full spectrum family medicine (ranging from children, families, and geriatric patients). Outside of medicine, Dr. Paruchuri loves to travel, binge watch the latest tv shows, explore cities and new restaurants, and recently she has started to get back into reading.
