Application Process / Eligibility

The following documents must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS):

Dean's Letter
Medical school transcript
Three letters of recommendation (at least two should be from emergency medicine faculty in the Standardized Letter of Recommendation (SLOR) format endorsed by CORD)
USMLE transcript
Personal statement
Applicants with previous residency experience must submit letters from their previous program director.

Foreign/International Medical Graduate applications must include:

A copy of your ECFMG certification.
Copies of all: ECFMG, FMGEMS, FLEX scores.
At least two letters of recommendation originating from the USA.
We only accept ONLY J1 visas.
At least one year of clinical experience in the U.S., Canada, U.K., or Israel is required.

Deadline

We begin reviewing completed applications after the Dean’s letter is released October 1st. Interviews will be granted on a rolling basis. We notify candidates accepted for interviews by email.
